So keep enjoying summer's pleasures and enjoy those things that make you happy! Come see vintage cars line the streets of Historic Downtown Cleveland as music fills the air on a sultry summer night. Speaking of nostalgia, maybe you've been dreaming of going to an old country fair. If so, check out the Foothills Country Fair. Or perhaps action is your thing! Come see teams face off in the Ocoee Cup Soccer Tournament. Better yet, test your own meddle on some of the best biking trails the southeast has to offer in the Black Bear Rampage where you, Gary Fisher and 499 others can race on the Tanasi Trail System!

Mainstreet Cruise-In
August 23, September 27, October 25
3 p.m. - 9 p.m.

More than 500 cars line the streets of historic downtown while the music of the 50s, 60s and 70s fills the air for a little bit of atmosphere! Imagine our lovely tree-lined southern streets as a backdrop as you see hundreds of gorgeous restored cars and other vehicles of interest. The Cruise-In is free to attend and to exhibit, and so its a fun and affordable way to entertain the family. Ocoee Cup
September 13-14

Get ready for this year's 12th Annual Ocoee Cup Soccer Tournament! 50-70 Teams from all around Tennessee will compete at Cleveland's own Mouse Creek Complex for a chance at Soccer Glory! Join in the fun and join in the game! Deadlines for your team's application are August 15...so you had better hurry. Call 614-GAME for more information.

 

 

Foothills Country Fair
September 25-28

Everything you've ever dreamed about in a country fair...delicious foods, beauty pageants, rides, live entertainment including American Idol contestant Phil Stacey! It's all here at the 5th Annual Foothills Country Fair! Buy items from local artisans, cultural arts and crafts judging, enjoy lawn mower racing. Black Bear Rampage
September 28
9 a.m.

This year's most anticipated bike race, The Black Bear Rampage, sponsored by Scott's Bicycle Centre, Oakley and Monster Energy centers around special guest Gary Fisher. Famous in the biking world as being the inventor of the mountain bike, Fisher was inducted into the Mountain Biking Hall of Fame 1988. He was honored by Smithsonian Magazine in 1994 as the Founding Father of Mountain Bikes. This year's race begins at  9 a.m. Sunday morning, but it is actually a multi-day event. It begins on Friday, September 26 1:30-5:30 p.m. with a Meet-and-Greet with Fisher, where he will be signing autographs. On Saturday, from 2-5 p.m. is Gary Fisher's Kids Ride, where participant's children can bike with the legend. Hamburgers and hotdogs will be served by the Ocoee Chamber of Commerce. The race begins Sunday morning, with and invocation at 8 a.m. While you're racing, your family can have fun with the many games and activities provided.
