The Speedway is a 1/3-mile clay-banked dirt track oval car racing facility that has been around more than 30 years. The track is equipped with state-of-the-art computers and is one of the South's premiere dirt tracks. Th track races five divisions: super late models, claimer late models, hobby, pony stock and "anything goes." Racing culminates annual running of the "Gobbler 100" in November. The Cleveland Speedway is located at 2420 S Lee Highway and races every Saturday night (March through October. Handicap accessible. Camping allowed, no hook-ups.
